Ponca 2014

We drove up to Ponca City, Oklahoma for our annual family reunion over the fourth of July.  Chris's mom is from there and we go to spend time with her side of the family every year.  This is the last one we will get to for a while since we will be in school and a greater distance away.  We sure did enjoy it.
We stopped half way in Denton, TX on our way up and stayed in a hotel with a cool pool.  We took advantage of it after our 5 hour drive.
Ben hung out with mom.

Emilee was practicing her picture taking skills.

Emilee and Daddy jumping in together.

This waterfall is cool and the edge of the pool is sort of like a splash pad.

Emilee was copying how I was sitting.  Such a funny girl.
On the fourth of July we had our annual picnic at Gordon and Thelma's farm.  Emilee got to spend time with her 3rd cousin, Nora, who is only 2 days older than Emilee.  We ate some delicious food and shot off lots of fireworks, as always.
Emilee was telling Nora something very serious.

Emilee enjoyed being able to run around the field.

The Grayson family picture, we are missing a ton of family this year :(

4 generations of Graysons

Ben got to meet his Great-grandad Grayson.

Emilee and Nora watching the fireworks.  Em thought they were too loud and thus plugged her ears.

Watching the firework show with Daddy.

Ben was tired and not a fan of the loud fireworks so he hung out with Grandma.
Chris was able to get his yearly round of golf in with his grandad and Uncle Dale.  They only played 9 holes with Grandad, but Dale and Chris had gotten another 9 holes in the day before.
We went to Wentz pool on Saturday with all of the cousins.  It is this really old pool that has been there since Grandma Lisa Hunsaker was a kid.  The greatest thing is that it still only costs $1 to get in.
Emilee enjoyed swimming around.

Ben just chilled, after he got used to the really cold water.

Getting doted on by Aunt Katie.

This is how our pool excursion ended, Emilee was exhausted and begging to take a nap, which never happens.
On Saturday night we had our annual whiffle ball game at Becky and Garon's.  It is a blast as always.
Emilee spent more time with her cousin Nora.  They were so cute together.

Daddy helped Emilee play her first game of Whiffle ball.  It was super cute.
As always, it was a great year up in Ponca and hopefully we get back up there soon.
