Ben is two months old now. I can't believe how quickly time flies. He is getting bigger and bigger. Ben is also completely healthy now. He saw the hematologist on the 30th and his red blood cell counts are completely normal!!! The doctor said he should only drop low again if something triggers a breakdown of the red blood cells, like getting sick. We still won't know what is blood disorder is until September or so, but at least his counts should stay normal.
He has figured out how to smile and it melts us each time he does. I swear he has the biggest smile ever. He seems to always be smiling at us. I honestly don't remember Emilee smiling this much. He will stop in the middle of eating and just start grinning up at me. His smile is so adorable. And of course anytime I try to get a picture of him smiling he stops to stare at the camera.
Ben regularly sleeps through the night at least 8 hours. It is nice to get some sleep. I've been lucky to get two good babies who like to sleep through the night at a young age.
Ben doesn't like to be alone in a room if he is awake. He usually doesn't demand to be held, but he wants people in the room with him. I guess that isn't too much to ask. He does get a little more demanding for attention in the evening. Chris asked if Ben is like that all day, but honestly Ben just sleeps and sits around content all day long. It is in the evening that he wants us to pay attention to him.
Em had to get in on the photo action.
And of course she had to have her stuffed animal in the picture too. Chris named the bear Sprinkles for her.
Love these two little ones.
