I am now 26 weeks along. I'm still not huge, but I am definitely pregnant. One of my students told me I don't even look pregnant from the front, which suits me just fine. I feel fine, but the new addition to my body takes a little getting used to. I'm not used to having anything hinder my movements.
Baby girl is progressing fine, or so the doctor says. We have yet to come up with a name, but we have a list of 12. The only problem is we are on opposite ends of the list as to which we like best. Chris likes the more traditional names while I prefer something a little lesson common. I'm sure we'll figure it out eventually, I just hope it isn't as we are checking out of the hospital with her. Time is flying and she'll be here before we know it. Baby girl is quite active, which is good, and loves to poke me. We have already started getting her used to Chris's loud guitar playing. I sat in the room while he played and the whole time she danced around kicking me. The minute I left the room for a while she stopped moving, but resumed as soon as I went back in the room. I guess she likes the music.
School has started which requires a one hour nap each day. After the nap I tend to get a second wind until bedtime. In what little spare time I have when I'm not exhausted from school, I have been working on little projects for the nursery. I painted both of these and they will go on top of the dressers. I painted the nursery, and as soon as Chris finishes the edges I will post pictures.
The nursery is going to be red and green with some white and black accents. So I made this flower pot.
