Benjamin Perry Hunsaker
Our baby boy was born and we still didn't have a name decided on. We had eliminated a few more names, but not decided on one. Our list included Henry, Benjamin, Mason, Brayden, and Cooper. Once I was in my room we seriously started discussing Benjamin. We both liked the name Ben, but I wasn't sold on Benjamin. I preferred Bennett and Benson. We talked about just naming him Ben, but it didn't sound right with the middle name options we had. It was a whole day after he was born that we finally decided on Benjamin, but we still had to tackle a middle name.
Middle names have to have a family connection so we had a definite list of names. The question was just which one fit best with Benjamin. Plus we had to decide if we would name him after one of his grandpas with the risk that we don't have another boy to name after the other one. We eventually decided to risk it and name him after one of his grandpas, so it was either Brent or Perry. I ultimately made the call that I liked Perry after my dad and officially named him 36 hours after he was born.
Everyone harassed us about not having a name picked out for him earlier, but then who knows what Ben's name would be. His name was clearly supposed to be Benjamin Perry. To make it more interesting Benjamin is the name my parents had picked out for me if I had been a boy. My mom even thinks that my middle name was going to be Perry also. So see, it was meant to be.
