A couple of weeks ago was spring break. This allowed me to get some projects done that I have been wanting to do. We have a set of three lamps that are brass in color. I am not a fan of anything brass or gold, so I bought some spray paint and painted them. Here are some pictures of before and after. I love them. 
Then we have been wanting to get our fish tank back up and running now that we are in a house. So when we got back from our trip we set up the tank and then started buying fish. We have 11 fish in the tank -it's a 30 gallon. We love having a fish tank and being able to watch the colorful fish swim around. 
Our new favorite fish are freshwater green spotted puffer fish. They are cool and cute. We have 2.

Cool puffer fish!! Just don't try and eat it. I hear they are poison! I always liked loaches in my fish tank. I say fish tank because I can't spell aquiarium and I don't need the english teacher correcting my comments :)
Looks fun! Jason had an aquarium when I married him. He liked the African cichlids. But we got rid of it when we moved to Houston. He'd like another aquarium someday!

Great job on the lamps. I need to think more like you, refinish instead of throw away and buy new!
