Our first non-baseball weekend has come to a close. It wasn't too exciting. On Saturday we met a new friend. Chris didn't like him too much. I was only afraid that he would fly into the apartment when we opened it and we would never get rid of him. He's not my idea of a roommate.
That afternoon we went on a crazy treasure hunt for a movie theater. We looked one up in the phone book and went to where we thought it was, but there was no theater. So on we went with the search down all of the main roads in Houston. We finally found one and bought tickets at a whopping $9.50 a piece. Then we had to pay $3 to park. Ouch! We watched Shrek the Third that evening. It was mediocre. When we got home we googled Cinemark and found a theater not too far away and it was closer to the prices in Utah.
On Sunday we just relaxed after church. In the afternoon we went to the pool together and swam for a while. I should have more exciting things to report later this week since the team is back in town tomorrow. Plus my in-laws are supposed to come visit us this weekend. Stay tuned for pictures from the ballpark.

Hey, I know I'm completely out of the loop since I'm stuck in Maryland, but what are you guys doing in Houston? Sounds like a fun adventure whatever the reason.
Chris has an internship with the Houston Astros this summer.
