This weekend was filled with baseball. Chris' parent's ended up not being able to make it, but we had fun all the same. Chris was supposed to interview Carlos Lee on Friday, but he was blown off. Some baseball players have egos, and Carlos is one of them. I got to the game early in hopes of getting some pictures of the interviews, instead I got pictures of Chris on the field and batting practice. Above are the pictures from BP.
Because Chris didn't get the interview on Friday we had to come early on Saturday so he could interview Carlos Lee before batting practice. As soon as I got through the gates I rushed down to the first couple of rows to get pictures. Sadly they were doing the interview in the dugout and I didn't get any pictures. But the interview went well, after Carlos about had a fit over the number of questions Chris had on his list. He told Chris that he had 5 minutes. Talk about a diva. These are the pictures I got after the interview.
This is Carlos Lee walking out of the dugout after the interview and Chris checking the tape afterwards. And then Chris standing on the field. I think I was the only person not talking pictures exclusively of the players. It was fun taking pictures of him so close to all of the players.
In case you were wondering, the Astros swept the Mariners over the weekend. One of the perks of this weekend was getting to watch Ichiro Suzuki, one of the best hitters in baseball, play. Personally I think he has the batting stance of a sissy girl. He wiggles his bum and looks like he has to pee. But I guess it works for him. It was a really good weekend of baseball and I rarely got bored.

Once again, what an amazing opportunity for both of you. I'm jealous. Too bad the Astros aren't in the AL and play the O's. I would love to have met up with you guys and gone to a game together.
